Overview
Muktinath sits at over 12,000 feet in Nepal's arid Mustang region, revered by both Hindus and Buddhists, and getting there means a short mountain flight to Jomsom followed by a drive or trek up the valley. We route pilgrims through Pokhara first, both to acclimatise gradually and to see the Annapurna range reflected in Phewa Lake before the higher, starker landscape of Mustang.
